Bill Pryor is a beloved pastor from the Gold Coast of Australia who regularly visit us at the ROC. Below is a excerpt from his website:
Pastor Bill Pryor was born in Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia in 1940. During his early years Bill involved himself in football and surfing, the latter being a sport he continues to be active in. Later he became successful as the manager of a large printing supply company in the graphic arts industry. His dynamic conversion and experience with the Holy Spirit in 1973 changed his lifestyle and he developed a fire in his bones to reach out and see the lost become saved.
After marrying his wife Pat, along with their four children he moved to Queensland, setting up their family business until in 1982 God called Ps. Bill into full-time ministry. An outreach church was started, rapidly growing as many were saved on the street. As the church continued to develop, Ps. Bill Pryor as senior minister founded Lakeside Christian Centre on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia, a substantial church complex with Lakeside Christian College. Recently opened is another multi-million dollar ten-acre Christian Secondary College, with a third all-grades Christian School Campus, Murwullimbah Christian College already under the auspices of Lakeside Christian Centre.
Ps. Bill Pryor is additionally committed to local church planting and a future vision for an International Bible College and Missions Training Centre on the existing site. The successful growth of Lakeside Christian Centre and the Christian schools have been astutely managed and administered by Ps. Bill Pryor and his wife Pat.
Ps. Bill Pryor founded the Philippines for Christ movement some 15 years ago after the Lord called him to evangelise the Philippines by giving him a strategy to take the cities for Christ. A significant number of cities have been evangelised with contacts established in the islands of Palawan, Luzo, Mindanao, Pany, Negros, Bohol, Leyte and Samar. Annual visits have seen hundreds of thousands come to Christ and become disciples. A number of converts have gone into full-time ministry and started their own churches. This has been a fruitful result for Ps. Bill Pryor’s anointed ’signs following’ ministry from which the joy of the Lord flows.
Through his apostolic calling and ability to move powerfully in the five ascension gifts, in 1996 he founded International Apostolic Ministries. With remarkable speed that ministry has flourished and begun to network throughout Australia, United States, Africa, India, Pakistan, Korea and Philippines. The ethos of International Apostolic Ministries is epitomized in Ps. Bill Pryor’s words: “The world is looking for unity and maturity with the anointing of the Holy Ghost.”
