Prayer: The Kind That Changes The World

Prayer is fundamental and is that central fiber of the Kingdom of God. Prayer is not optional in our relationship with the Lord. Prayer is not about "getting stuff from God", it is to destroy the works of the devil. Let us be God conscious in our praying, saying, “Come Kingdom of God; be done will of God, on earth as it is in heaven!” God's house works better than any army known on earth. It has the ability to become a war machine against the devil, to take away his power to destroy and wrestle from him people, cities, even nations.

• January 6th – The Faith Involved in Prayer
  Jesus commands disciples to have faith in prayer. Therefore we must begin to pray and ask believing! For without faith it is impossible to please God! Faith has an assurance that is felt all the way through a person’s soul. Since "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" then the cry of the prayer warrior is "Lord! Speak!" When we speak what He speaks we are unifying with His divine will and the very resonance of His voice as our voices together will shake everything that is not His kingdom.
• January 13th – The Pregnancy of Prayer
  Like giving birth in the natural, prayer has work (travail) followed by great joy. As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual. Travail is a form of intense intercession given by the Holy Spirit whereby an individual or group is gripped by something that grips God’s heart. The individual or group labors with Him for an opening to be created so that the new life can come forth. Travail takes place after you have carried something in your heart for a period of time.
• January 20th – The Power of Corporate Prayer
  History is for those who pray. The corporate prayer meeting is a vital key to be restored to shape this day for God. By prayer the Church is mobilized. “As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’” (Acts 13:2 NKJV) Laborers of the harvest are sent to the fields and prayer will empower His workers to do signs, wonders and miracles in His name. Our prayers will pull down false leaders and raise up the true ones. We open closed doors and bring light into dark places. We close doors of immoral businesses and clear the path for righteous business!
• January 27th – Prayer with Fire
  There is a way of praying that is extremely rare. But those who discover this find the ultimate weapon – the passion of God. Once God gets partnering agreement His involvement, by His love for His people, is in tact and He answers with His fire! With the results of our prayers being fire we have awesome authority in the workings of this universe. Jesus longed to kindle the fire! “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” (Luke 12:49 NKJV) To call down fire is an awesome authority and responsibility! Let us pray with fire!
