While we still don't have any midweek meetings at the ROC this week, there is plenty going on and coming up, so be sure to check it all out!
Sadly, thanks to a storm knocking out our internet connection we weren't able to broadcast or record this mornings message, but everything should be back up and running by next Sunday morning.

Help Impact Albany, NY by Voting for Pastor Charlie Mueller!

Pastor Charlie Mueller is one of the top ten finalists in "Sear's Unsung Heroes" contest, in which the winner receives $30,000. Pastor Charlie plans on putting this money towards continuing to impact the greater Albany area for the Kingdom of God!
Voting is easy, pain-free, and can be done daily through July 31st. As of right now, Charlie is in the lead, but he and another man are neck and neck. So vote daily and let your friends know!

Lighthouse of Love - Saturday 9:30 am
|
 Don't forget that our foodbank ministry, Lighthouse of Love, is continuing to happen each and every Saturday morning starting at 9:30 am. We are still needing workers on a weekly basis, so if you don't sign up at church on Sundays, you can call the church office during the week (813) 681-2250 or just show up on Saturday. All of our workers are asked to be there at 9:30 am.

ROC Women: Pamper and Be Pampered Weekend - Friday & Saturday

 Here's everything you need to know from the girl in the know: Becky Wells
ROC Women's Retreat Weekend is Friday July 30th, 6:30 pm to Saturday, July 31st, 2010, ending with dinner at Sweet Tomatoes.
This will be an adult only (18 & older) event at the Raymond's home in Dover.
The cost is $15/day or $20/weekend.
Theme is " Pamper and Be Pampered".
Some pampering items available will be:
* Foot Spa
* Jacuzzi
* Eye brow waxing
* Warm Paraffin Hand Softening
You will personal items need to bring:
* Sleeping gear; sleeping bags/air mattress, pillows, and blankets
* PJ's
* Comfy Slippers
* Bathrobe
* (2) bath towels
* Beach towel & Swim Suit.
Food to bring:
* Friday: Finger foods
* Saturday: Brunch items

Florida Solemn Assembly - August 7, 8 am to 8 pm

 Pastor Rick would like anyone who can to attend this important event for our state.
From the flyer:
"Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly. Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders... Let the priests, the Lord's ministers, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, 'Spare Thy people, O Lord and do not make Thine inheritance, a reproach, a byword among the nations..." Joel 2:15-17. Calling the Church of Florida to a Corporate Solemn Assembly. We need all 67 counties of Florida to come.
