Boundaries – A New Wednesday Night Series

Wednesday nights, 7pm at the ROC: childcare will be provided.
Boundaries: When to say yes, when to say no, to take control of your life!

Boundaries, by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, addresses specific issues that confront today’s Christians. Issues such as:
-Living a life out of control
-Having people take advantage of us
-Having trouble saying no
-Being disappointed with God because of unanswered prayers
and many more vital issues

A boundary is a personal property line that marks those things for which we are responsible. In other words, boundaries define who we are and who we are not. They impact all areas of our lives:

  • Physical boundaries help us determine who may touch us and under what circumstances.
  • Mental boundaries give us the freedom to have our own thoughts and opinions.
  • Emotional boundaries help us deal with our own emotions and disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others.
  • Spiritual boundaries help us to distinguish God’s will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator.

Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle, isn’t it? Often, Christians focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations.
When confronted with their lack of boundaries they ask:
-Can I set limits and still be a loving person?
-What are legitimate boundaries?
-What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries?
-How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money?
-Aren’t boundaries selfish?
-Why do I feel guilty or afraid when I consider setting boundaries?

Join with us Wednesdays at 7 pm at the ROC to explore this important issue

All are welcome to celebrate with us this Easter Sunday at 10 am

Also…

We don’t have many traditions at the ROC, but one of them we do adhere to is having the entire ROC family head out to the beach on Easter Sunday afternoon to spend the day enjoying the sun and the company of our friends. This Easter Sunday we will head to Holmes Beach on Anna Marie Island – Take 75 south to Hwy 64, then west to the beach. Everyone is invited!

Walking in True Grace & Applying the Love of God

This Sunday we begin a new series: Walking in True Grace & Applying the Love of God.  This journey will take us through the book of 1st Corinthians.  Few people understand true grace; what it is and what it means. While its often defined as “God’s unmerited favor”, it so much more than that. Grace is something that can be possessed and walked in every day of our lives. Its something that has a real substance, and those that encounter it are never the same again.  Join us as we begin this journey and allow His grace to change your life as well.

Beth Moore’s life-transforming Bible study challenges and inspires women of every age, everywhere. Joining Beth at this weekend event is acclaimed worship leader Travis Cottrell and the Praise Team.

Divine Healing School Starts Tonight!

Divine Healing School

We will take the 2nd Friday at 7:30pm of every month for training, activation and impartation in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Come gain the tools and anointing for walking in divine health and healing the sick in every place you go.

Jesus Christ has overcome sickness and disease, trauma and poverty, curses and the bondages of sin. These are the monuments of Satan. These are the works of Satan and the reason that Jesus has come into you! The old man is dead and you are a new creature in Christ Jesus! His life and light overcomes the sickness and disease, trauma and poverty, curses and the bondages of sin and sends them to the watery grave through baptism. Now it is no longer you who live and own the properties of your body and soul. It is Christ who has taken up residency and ownership.

Satan is the oppressor and Jesus is the deliverer. Never ever get these two confused. So often Christians say, “I wonder what God’s purpose is in afflicting me this time. Well, whatever it is I had better learn my lesson well.”
John 10:10 (NASB) “The thief (Satan) comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I (Jesus) came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.”
Let the truth of this scripture once and for all forever settle the issue. Satan gets satisfaction by making people’s lives a total wreck, inflicting them with incurable diseases and stealing their joy and peace. He is in fact a totally warped and sick in the mind being.

1 John 3:8b (NASB) “The Son of God appeared for this purpose, that He might destroy (to loosen those bound by – Greek) the works of the devil.”
Matt 8:16,17 (NASB) “And when evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a Word, and healed all who were ill,
17 in order that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled saying, ‘He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases.’ ”

In His death He took all our infirmities and diseases so that we could go free. In fact, the same verse that says He took our sins also says He took our sicknesses. It is all part and parcel of the gospel.
1 Pet 2:24 (NASB) “And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.”
24b (TCNT) “…His bruising was your healing.”
Our heavenly Father has the same attitude towards His children suffering as an earthly father has toward his children. His compassion compels Him to heal those who are suffering. We need to have faith in His love.
Matt 14:14 (NASB) “And when He came out, He saw a great multitude and felt compassion for them, and healed their sick.”

He gave us the same power.
We have the delegated authority to use the power of God to do the works of Christ whenever we need to. He never changes. What He did for mankind on the earth 2000 years ago, He is still doing today by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 10:19 (NASB) “Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall injure you.”
Heb 13:8 (NASB) “Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and today, yes and forever.”

We must understand the truth, in order to realise the devil’s lies. However, the truth does not automatically set us free. It is only our personal knowledge and application of the truth that will set us free.
John 8:32 (NASB) “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make (or set – Williams) you free.”
Satan operates on people’s ignorance. His chief weapon is deception. Once you know the truth you can serve him notice in Jesus’ name. The truth of the gospel is the very power of God unto salvation, healing, deliverance, etc.
Rom 1:16 (NASB) “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

God works through His Word. It is the Word being quickened in your heart by the Holy Spirit that will awaken your faith and cause the healing power of God to be released in your body.
Ps 107:20 (NASB) “He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
Heb 4:12 (Weymouth) “For the Word of God is full of life and power…”
Rom 10:17 (KJV) “So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”
God’s word is healing medicine to our bodies when we understand it, and give it our full attention by wholeheartedly putting it first in our lives.
Prov 4:20-22 (NASB) “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart.
22 For they (my words) are life to those who find them, and health (or medicine – Greek) to all their whole body.”

Each one of us must understand how to receive healing and keep it. When we understand God’s word on healing and act upon it, it brings forth a manifestation of healing in our physical bodies. Our goal is to receive the manifestation of healing and give our heavenly Father the glory for what Jesus has done for us.

He even says “that glory may dwell in their land”. Is that not what we have been crying out for?! “Lord, let Your glory come!” The physical frequency of vibration of the woman’s faith that reached out and touched the hem of His garment with hope and expectation, I believe, came in sync with the frequency of vibration in the virtue of healing that lay resident in Him. He said her faith made her whole. There is a physical principal taking place when spiritual principals are activated. The sound and/or vibration of supplication released through revelation bringing transformation.

A Word for the ROC – 2/7/2010 – Pat Holloran

Revival Outreach Center (ROC) 7 Feb 10

This is indeed the time of a yoke destroying production era of what I have referred to in my word.  My revelation, my vision, rising in this place as I bring the days of the game of church to an end in this region.  I have spoken that there will be a reformation and fathering movement that will change the minds of people to My mind.  And I now place a demand upon those here and watching, that you are the sowers of a family that comes and pursues My heart.  It is not about being victims, but victors.

And now I implement the ushering in of Isaiah 22:20-22 for the keys of David to be used by you as you pursue me, encounter Me, and embrace Me.  For I the Lord am opening new doors for you to go through.  Doors that will surprise many in your midst.  For I Am taking what would appear to be dwindling into a greater movement.  A Chronos time has expired and now I will command that you not only prepare for the Great Awakening, but that you come to it.  For I the Lord have been waiting for you, yes for you!  You have invited Me to come to you, but in fact, I am giving you the open invitation to come to Me.

I am going to pursue those who will grab a hold of Me, who will want to not only sit on My lap, but jump at the opportunity.  I am saying as I have before, that you are an apostolic network center, and not just a place of church.  You are an Ekklesia, and I will see this happen with you and others.  It is not the time to just meet for the sake of seeing each other.  It is to prepare for My arrival, My announcements, and My dwelling you.

Some have waited, others have doubted, but I tell you that I will honor My word, and those who have prepared My placement.  Those who have fought the curses of the mouths of others shall rise together in a victorious triumph march that will be even greater than in the time of My servant David.  I have a demand that you become the family that I have intended for you to be. A fellowship center, a teaching center, a hospitality gathering place, and in this a headquarters of chieftains, to gather and partake of the intelligence of heaven that is for the liberation of the saints today.  And know that it is not just in this building, but in this land that I will declare the spirit of adoption that will be for all who come to Me with open hearts, open souls, and an open spirit man.

I cannot stay to the side of lives, I must be involved in them 100%.  I the Lord am hungering for you.  Do not stay away from My grasp, My cries, My heart.  I must have you for I am in love with you.  Come to Me, and do not stand afar off.  I must see you, hear you, and I must commit to you.  Come, come, come!  I will have you that I desire, want, and am engaged to.  I am thankful for you!  So come into My arms, and do not allow your logic, or over-analysis to halt you.  I will not condemn, but forgive.  I am the grace, I am the Life, I am Lord of this house, family, and children.

I chose you before you chose Me.  You are to do the exploits of the mystics, of the fathers, of the lords of lands.  And in this headquarters of mighty men and mighty women, I will pronounce a victory that will be known to all who enter in.  But it will be by a commitment that must be in relational covenant.  For the apostles of this place will rise up into headship that serves as they direct others to join in the role of armor-bearers, whose hearts and souls are for them as well as for Me.  I am He who does bless, pronounce and orchestrate your steps. Come to Me and rejoice.

This Sunday morning, our friends Pat & Val Holloran will bring their great big father’s hearts to the people of the ROC. Pat & Val are what is known as “Seers” – meaning that they see things in the Spirit. It is this Seer-gift that enables them to see not only what God is wanting to do in a region but often what the enemy is wanting to do in a region, and how to combat it.  Everywhere that they go, they not only bring this seer gift, but a great big love of a father and powerful revelation that will change your life. So come on out this Sunday morning at 10 am and get yourself a big dose of everything God has in store for you!
